Q. Why does https://hsfsweepstakes.ca/ require my location and/or why am I receiving the following prompt: “https://hsfsweepstakes.ca/ would like to use your location?”
Your current location is required to confirm eligibility. The Contest will be offered only to eligible customers within the province of Ontario.
Q. What if I already selected "Don't Allow"?
Reloading the page should cause you to be prompted to share your location again. If you have specified that you never want to share your location, you will need to go into your settings to allow. See below for instructions.
Q. What if I receive the following prompt: "You must allow your browser to share your location to purchase tickets, please click "OK" to reload this page, then be sure to allow your browser to share your location when prompted"?
The browser should reload the page and ask you to share your location upon loading. Note: In some browsers, the popup may say "close" instead of "OK"
Q: What happens if I did not receive my email with the ticket numbers?
Check your spam or junk folders in your email. If you cannot find it, please contact us via email at contest@heartandstroke.ca. Provide your name, phone number, and donation amount.
Q. I entered the incorrect email and did not print my tickets, how can I get my tickets resent?
Please contact us via at contest@heartandstroke.ca and provide your name, phone number, and donation amount.
Q: What if I cannot purchase tickets on https://hsfsweepstakes.ca/ due to Location issues?
You may have told your browser to never share your location. You need to change that setting to allow sale.
For iOS devices:
1) Go to the Settings App.
2) Go to Privacy.
3) Go into Location Services.
4) Ensure "Location Services" are on.
5) Scroll down and click "Safari Websites."
6) Make sure that Allow Location Access is set to "While Using the App."
Chrome has the same setting if you are using that instead.
For Android (though this may vary by version):
1) Go to Settings App.
2) Go to Location and make sure that it is on.
3) Go back to previous screen and go to Apps.
4) Go to Chrome.
5) Click Permissions.
6) Ensure that Location is enabled.
Note: If still experiencing problems, go to a maps app and see where it places you.
Location Troubleshooting Steps for Microsoft Edge
If you're encountering issues with location services while using the Microsoft Edge browser on your Windows desktop, it's likely due to permissions related to geolocation access. To resolve this, you can adjust the location permissions within the Windows system settings and the Microsoft Edge browser settings.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Check Windows System Settings:
a. Access Windows Settings by clicking on the Start menu button and selecting the "Settings" (gear-shaped) icon.
b. Navigate to Privacy Settings and click on "Location" in the left sidebar.
c. Enable Location Access by toggling on the "Allow apps to access your location" switch.
d. Review and manage app permissions, including Microsoft Edge and Maps.
2. If still encountering issue, check Microsoft Edge Browser Settings:
a. Open the website in the Microsoft Edge browser on your Windows desktop.
b. Access Edge Settings by clicking on the three horizontal dots (or "More" menu) at the top-right corner of the browser window and selecting "Settings."
c. Scroll down to "Cookies and site permissions" and click on it.
d. Under "Site permissions," select the website entry, and click on "Reset permissions."
e. Retry accessing the website and try a purchase.
f. Grant Location Permission in Edge (if prompted) by clicking on the option to allow the website to access your location.

Q. How do I enter the Contest?
a) Entry Via Donation:
During the Contest Period, you may enter the Contest by donating to the Sponsor via the entry process as set forth at www.heartandstrokelottery.ca/luckycashsweepstakes No tax receipts will be issued by the Sponsor for donations made in exchange for entry into the Contest.
b) No Purchase Necessary:
During the Contest Period, you may also enter the Contest by mailing a handwritten, original 100-word statement explaining why heart and brain health matters to you. Please include your full name, complete mailing address, email address and phone number, and send to 18 Auriga Dr, Nepean ON K2E 7T9 to enter. Requests must be received by March 20, 2026.
No photocopies or mechanical reproductions are accepted. Entries have no cash value and are subject to verification.
Q. Where do the proceeds from the total jackpot go?
Funds from the Lucky Cash Sweepstakes will go directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, a charity dedicated to improving diagnosis, care and support for all. Visit What we do | Heart and Stroke Foundation to learn more.
Q. When is the Draw?
The final deadline to enter into the Lucky Cash Sweepstakes is 11:59:59 p.m. EST on March 20, 2026. The draw will take place on March 23, 2026, at approximately 11 a.m. EST and the winner will be notified directly by the Heart and Stoke Foundation.
Q. If I have the winning number, how do I claim the prize?
The winner will be notified by email or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry. To complete the verification process and arrange for prize delivery, potential winners must respond to the notification within seventy‑two (72) hours and provide the required information as requested by the Sponsor.
